
Opening to capacity crowds in the summer of 2002, the Southern Ground Amphitheater is entering its twelfth year of operation. Owned by the Downtown Development Authority and managed by Main Street Tourism Association, the Amphitheater is located in the heart of downtown Fayetteville in the historic Main Street District. From internationally known recording stars to Free Movie Nights under the Stars, the Amphitheater offers something for everybody!

Directions to Southern Ground Amphitheater from Atlanta:
Interstate 75/85 Connector south through Atlanta. Stay on Interstate 75 south toward Macon. As you approach the exit for I-285 east, get in the second lane from the right, an Exit Only lane for State Road 85. Take State Road 85 south through Riverdale south of Riverdale, on State Road 85 is Fayetteville. Turn right at LaFayette Ave (Arbys will be on corner, look for Amphitheater directional sign). Follow to the four-way stop and turn right. The amphitheater is on your left. Parking is free.
Directions to Southern Ground Amphitheater from East of Fayetteville:
Take S.R. 19/41 south to Hwy 54. Turn west on 54 and travel until you reach state Hwy 85. The Courthouse square is on your left. Proceed through the stoplight on the square to the first right hand turn, which is Tiger Trail. The amphitheater will be your left. Parking is free.
Directions to Southern Ground Amphitheater from West of Fayetteville:
Take Hwy 54 east to City of Fayetteville. Directly after you pass the City Cemetery you will turn left on Tiger Trail as if you were going to Fayette County High School. Amphitheater is on your left. Parking is free.
Directions to Southern Ground Amphitheater from South of Fayetteville:
Take State Road 85 north until you reach the historic square. The Courthouse will be on your right. Take a left at the second light on the square and proceed west on Hwy 54. Take the first right, which is Tiger Trail and the amphitheater will be on your left. Parking is free.

• Southern Ground is a beautiful, state-of-the art, outdoor amphitheater.
• Concerts held here are rain or shine. For inclement weather, please bring a rain jacket or poncho.
• No refunds or exchanges on tickets are allowed. Due to safety and sightline concerns, umbrellas are not permitted.
• No pets, smoking or umbrellas are allowed.
• Guests may bring in small coolers or picnic baskets with their own food and drink. Food and drink are also available for purchase
inside the Amphitheater.
• Beer and wine is allowed in the Southern Ground Amphitheater but may not be consumed in the parking lot.
• Please place trash in appropriate receptacle.
• Folding chairs and small tables are acceptable for lawn seating.
