The Summer Evening of Jazz (SEJ) Logo Design Contest gives participants the

opportunity to design a logo for the Fayette County Democratic Committee’s Summer Evening of Jazz concert.  Contest is open to high school students of public school, private school, and homeschool within Fayette County, Georgia.  The winning design will be emblazoned on the official Summer Evening of Jazz t-shirt and recognized at the SEJ concert. The artist will receive a $100 cash prize, two tickets to the SEJ concert, and a SEJ t-shirt with their design.

 

Sound of Jazz

 

This year's winner of the Summer Evening of Jazz Logo Design Contest is Kara Fulks. Her design entitled "Sound of Jazz" will be featured on the official website, concert social media sites, and the SEJ website. Special thanks to our logo contest sponsor, Sunbelt Graphics!

  

Bio

  

Kara Fulks is a junior at McIntosh High School. She has two older brothers and a younger sister. Her parents are Art and Lesa Fulks.  Kara loves doing anything artistic whether it be singing, dancing, painting, taking photographs or designing something on the computer. She's an all A student and involved in numerous clubs including Skills USA.  In college, Kara hopes to major in graphic design with a minor in marketing or advertising.
